What does Waive balance actually do?
There's no video on this page yet. The answer is the real one. When we film it, this same page gets the tape.
It forgives whatever is left after the amount you take now. The receipt says Balance Waived, the confirmation shows zero due, and check-in skips collecting at the counter. Admin permission is required. Comp is a different price action and also needs admin unless you turn it on for staff.

How it actually works
Waive is settlement, not a silent refund to the original card.
Easy to mix up
- Waive sends money back through Stripe.
- Any dock employee can waive without an admin.
