You can set an expiration when you create the card. If you leave it blank, it stays valid.

How it actually works
Expiration is a field you choose. It is not a hidden platform default that kills unused credit.
Easy to mix up
- Every gift card dies at the end of the season automatically.
- You cannot set an expiration.
