Taking money and giving it back
What if they never pay the rest of the deposit?
There's no video on this page yet. The answer is the real one. When we film it, this same page gets the tape.
Unpaid balances show in the dashboard. Send a reminder, collect at check-in, or charge the card on file. The deposit setting is account-wide; for one booking, adjust payments on the booking details.
Read deposits, then collecting payment.
How it actually works
A deposit is the portion at checkout. The leftover is still due before or at pickup — you set that policy.
Easy to mix up
- Each listing has its own deposit percent with no account setting.
- An unpaid balance disappears at midnight.
