How do we keep a card for fuel or damage without a fight at return?

Card on file is authorized at booking through Stripe. Later incidental charges follow the terms you published, with a log. Staff confirm condition. They are not cashiers of last resort.

Collecting a new card at return is when people get defensive. Authorization happened when they were excited to go.

- Dock staff should take a new card for every ding.
