RecSystems places a temporary hold on selected inventory during checkout. The hold protects the timeslot while the renter completes payment, then the confirmed booking becomes the source of availability.

How it actually works
While one guest is paying, the last boat is not still open in another tab. Saturday check-in is a different job — getting people out the door, not holding inventory.
