The questions
How do I set hourly vs daily rentals?
Go to Account → Timeslots. Use Guided Wizard for a plain-English setup, or Add Timeslot for manual setup. Review hours, days, duration options, units, and prices before publishing.
Open rental schedules, then the timeslot wizard.
Can Rex draft the rental schedule if I describe the day?
Open Account → Timeslots and click Guided Wizard. Describe your rental day, review Rex's draft schedule, set prices for each unit, confirm, then the timeslots go live.
Open the timeslot wizard Help.
How do I run different hours in peak season?
Set Valid From and Valid Through on your timeslots. Make separate timeslots for peak and off-season when the hours or prices actually change.
Read seasonal schedules, then two-dock hours.
How do I close a day without deleting the whole schedule?
To block dates for specific units, go to Account Info → Unit Downtime and schedule downtime. For a day you are always closed, edit the timeslot's day-of-week settings. For a season, set the timeslot's valid date range.
Read blocking dates, then unit downtime.
Where do I see the whole day at once?
Open the calendar from the dashboard. Bookings are color-coded by status. Click a booking to see details or make a change.
Read the calendar Help, then the booking workspace question.
How do I add a second pickup spot?
Go to Account → Locations, click New location, enter the name, description, and fee, then Generate Location. Edit afterward to add address, contact, and pickup instructions.
Read adding locations, then operating hours.
How do I charge for delivery or a farther pickup?
Open the location and set a fixed fee, or enable mileage-based pricing with a base fee plus a per-mile rate.
Read location fees, then who pays the 10%.
How do I stay closed every Monday?
Edit the timeslot and uncheck Monday in the active days. That day stays unavailable every week. For one-off closures, use Unit Downtime on the unit instead.
Read blocking dates, then rental schedules.
Can they keep the boat on a day we are closed?
Yes. If you are closed Sunday and open the rest of the week, a guest can rent Thursday to Monday. They have the unit on Sunday. They cannot pick up or return that day. Uncheck Sunday in Active Days and set Saturday's minimum stay to 2 days so Saturday starts return Monday.
Read rental schedules, then blocking dates.
How do I sell a weekend or weekly package?
Use a multi-day timeslot with Flexible Times. Add duration options such as Weekend = 2 days and Week = 6 days. Only check the start day in Active Days. Each unit gets its own price per package. The return day can be a day that is not an Active Day — that is how packages work.
Read rental schedules, then half-day and full-day.
If I block a day, do the bookings I already have disappear?
No. Existing bookings stay. Downtime only stops new bookings. If you need those guests off the calendar, you still have to contact them and change or cancel.
Read blocking dates, then changing a booking.
Can I start the schedule from a preset instead of writing a paragraph?
Yes. On step 1 of Guided Wizard, use an example prompt or tap a preset chip. You can also let Rex suggest a schedule from your fleet. If the draft is off, edit names, hours, durations, and active days on step 2 before pricing.
Read the timeslot wizard, then hourly vs daily.
